** Covid-19 Winery Practices Update **
Our Tasting Room is open:
Mondays - Saturdays between 10 am - 5 pm / Sundays 11 am - 5 pm for tastings by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Due to limited capacity indoors, we can allow NO MORE THAN 6 persons per booked group. We request appointments be made using the 'Book a Tasting' button above. You will receive a confirmation of your booked slot via email.
No walk-in tastings available until further notice.
All members of a tasting group must be present before the group is allowed in the Tasting Room. Please show or reference your confirmation email and time upon check-in. Only paid participants will be allowed into the Tasting Room. Bookings are nonrefundable. Please arrive on time for your appointment. We cannot guarantee late entry.
No shared/split tastings available until further notice.
We do not accept any buses nor limos.
Wine Club Members are eligible for full refund of their tasting fees against any same day wine purchases.
Standard Tasting Participants are eligible for $2.00 credits per same day wine purchases.
Up to 2 bottles (or $4.00 - total refund possible).
We require all visitors to our Tasting Room to:
(1) wear a cloth face covering, per New York Executive Order No. 204.34
(2) sanitize their hands upon entry
(3) maintain 6-ft social distancing between other groups, individual customers, employees, and other persons during their session
(4) stay home if you feel ill or have come in contact with someone who has been ill within the past 14 days
(5) understand, cooperate with, and observe all business practices and other official regulations, including floor markings, signage, or verbal staff requests
There are two easy ways to place orders with us!
(1) online - use the NY shop page button for pick-ups. You can indicate date/time preference in the 'special instructions' prompt field at checkout.
(2) by phone, email - call the Tasting Room at 315-536-4580, or email email@example.com. We can process CC over the phone for contactless payment.
A staff member will confirm the pick-up with you during processing. We have same day pick-up available for pre-placed orders, and we request you call ahead when you're en route, or in our lot, so Geoffrey or another staff member can assist you.
When you do business with Red Tail Ridge Winery you can expect that your personal information will be kept private and confidential. At Red Tail Ridge Winery we are committed to maintaining your privacy and safeguarding your account, transaction, and personal information. Such information is considered confidential and non-public and will not be sold to any third party. However, when you visit redtailridgewinery.com some basic information is collected to create summary statistics for us only to evaluate. This helps us understand how visitors browse our site, so that we can make their shopping experience better. Information collected include (but are not limited to): your computer's IP address, the type of browser you are using, what pages you viewed on our website and how long you stayed on each page.
Credit Card Information
Red Tail Ridge Winery cannot view your entire credit card information. When you are asked for credit card information during online wine purchases, your credit card number is encrypted and tokenized for the bank transaction. This is to ensure the safety of your credit card and to prevent fraud. All purchases are completed under a SSL - a standard internet security measure.
In order to ship and track merchandise, we make your name and address available to such companies as United Parcel Service, Federal Express and the U.S. Postal Service. In no instance are these business affiliates allowed to use your personal information for any other purpose. A person 21 years of age or older must be present to sign for shipments of alcoholic beverages. Items usually arrive with in 7-10 business days and you will be emailed a tracking number when your order has shipped.
If you have purchased a flawed wine from our tasting room or online stores, we will replace the flawed wine with proof of purchase. We ask that you return the flawed wine in the original bottle to us so we can examine it. If you are not sure what a flawed wine is, please contact us with your observations. Overall, if you are not completely satisfied with any item you buy from us, please contact us.
Age Restriction Policy
There are no materials, images, or words on this website that would normally raise any issue about age appropriateness. Alcoholic beverages may NOT be purchased by persons under 21 years of age and you will be required to give proof of age for any wine purchases off our online stores.
(1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy, because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.
