The Vineyards

After three years of planting, we finally have all our vines in the ground now.  We just finished planting 15,000 Riesling vines last month, and finished off our Chardonnay, Teroldego and Pinot blocks.  This is our third growing season for our 3 acres of Pinot and the vines are really doing well in their environment.  We are anticipating a great harvest this year and hope to produce both still and sparkling Pinot wines.  Last year we planted our two acres of Chardonnay, the Teroldego and 10,000 vines of Riesling.  Surprisingly these vines will also be producing a little crop this year, and we are really looking forward to working with the fruit and examining its potential in the winemaking process.
