The 2009 Pinot Noit has been reviewed on the Fogburnoff blog. The review includes in part, a brief history of the Finger Lakes as a winemaking region. On Red Tail RIdge 2009 blogger Chrstina states, '...This pinot had raspberries, cherries, bright and fresh strawberries, earth, anises, and leather in the aromas. Most of the fruits replayed in the taste with the earth and vanilla flavours. The vanilla played a more supporting role, rather than taking the front stage.'
